6 to the 3rd power is not 6 times 3 it is 6 times 6 times 6 = 216.
For exponents all you do is see what the exponent is for my example it is 3 so all you would do is 6 times 6 times 6 you don't 6 times 3.
the 6 is called the base and the 3 is called the exponent.
You would use exponents if you had two or more of the same number of thing such as you had 2 pies and each pie had 6 pieces it would be 2 to the 6th power.

Good job. You did a good job of explaining how to do the topic and the vocabulary. I'd like to see the real world examples be real uses of the topic that you find on the internet. Maybe next time you could add a link about the topic.
